LENA Start is an evidence-based group program for families that uses regular feedback from LENA technology to help increase interactive talk between adults and young children. Over the course of 10 weekly sessions, parents and caregivers learn how back-and-forth conversations boost their child’s brain development along with ways to incorporate more talk into their daily routines. Children whose caregivers participate in LENA Start experience richer language environments, higher early literacy scores, and stronger family relationships.
