Our Family

Kenyatta Stephens serves as Chief Executive Officer of Centers for Family Development, Inc. (CFDI).  She has been honored to work at Centers for Family Development, Inc. since July of 1997.  In her role, she is responsible for overall business and program operations of the agency, including Board collaboration, stakeholder relationships, vision setting, and strategic planning. Consumer and stakeholder satisfaction are a main priority for her as families, and the community, entrust CFDI to partner with them toward achieving their goals for hope and healing. What Kenyatta enjoys most about her position is seeing youth, family, and neighborhood transformation as they achieve set goals. On a fun note, Kenyatta loves to read, as well as bike riding and camping with her family. 

Dr. LaTonya Shelton serves as Chief Operating Officer of Centers for Family Development, Inc.  She has been honored to work at CFDI since 2016. In her role, she provides management oversight to all program operations, while driving performance measures, including ensuring operations are efficient, effective, accessible, and delivered with high satisfaction of both consumers and staff.  Dr. Shelton enjoys most about her position, while being a conduit of information, learning of consumer successes and staff professional development.  On a fun note, Dr. Shelton loves to spend time with family, especially attending church, dancing and cooking with her husband and daughter. 

Scott Kline serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Centers for Family Development, Inc. He has been honored to work at CFDI since November 8, 2022. In his role, Scott enjoys most about his position the ability to serve others through the gifts God has given him. On a fun note, Scott has 2 smart & funny children (Ben & Allie) and enjoys evening walks with his wife Karen and their dog Lucy.

Cynthia serves as the Executive Assistant/Director of Administrative Operations of Centers for Family Development, Inc. She has been honored to work at CFDI since October 2000. In her role, she provides executive level support to the office of the CEO. Cynthia loves having the opportunity to serve. On a fun note, Cynthia loves road trips and spending time with her family.

Chuck Dulin serves as Director of Information Technology and Facilities Manager for Centers for Family Development, Inc. He has been honored to work at the Center for Family Development, Inc, since May 2002. In his role as Director of IT, he enjoys helping staff increase their productivity, and assisting them with navigating newer technologies. He enjoys most about his position the satisfaction he gets from helping other individuals with challenging tasks.  On a fun note, Chuck loves to take long walks, read business magazines and journals, workout, and watch NFL football and other sports.

Nicole McKinney serves as Executive Vice President for Centers for Family Development, Inc. She has been honored to work at Centers for Family Development, Inc since February 2023. In her role, she is engaged in early childhood strategic development and sustainability planning and increasing organizational capacity with fund development, by engaging individual, corporate, and foundation donors. What Nicole most enjoys about her position is bringing awareness to the programs of CFDI and collaborating with partners to advance the mission of the organization. On a fun note, Nicole enjoys gardening and being outdoors, and is an avid basketball fan.

Kimberly serves as the Vice President of Quality and Performance Improvement for Centers for Family Development, Inc. She has been honored to work at Centers for Family Development, Inc. since April of 2022. In her role, Kimberly enjoys most about her position getting to witness the impact our agency has serving our communities. On a fun note, Kimberly loves more than anything, being a mother to her little ones

Samantha Perry serves as Vice President of Juvenile Justice for Centers for Family Development, Inc.  She has been honored to work at Centers for Family Development, Inc. since February 26, 2001. In her role, Samantha is responsible for managing an array juvenile justice prevention, diversion, wraparound, and treatment services. What Samantha enjoys most about her position is being able to empower youth and families to achieve their goals and become champions of their communities. On a fun note, Samantha loves to go camping and spend time with her family. 

Elise Goulbourne serves as Vice President of Behavioral Health for  Centers for Family Development, Inc.  She has been honored to work at CFDI since January 2014. In her role, she is responsible for the management of clinical services. Elise enjoys most about her position that she is able to give back to the community that gave so much to her. On a fun note, Elise loves to do adventurous things with her family and friends.

Wendy LaMarr serves as Collective Impact Manager for Centers for Family Development, Inc. She has been honored to work at CFDI since August 7, 2000. In her role, she partners with cross-sector stakeholders in early childhood, business, government and philanthropy to transform early childhood services for Detroit children and families; ensuring that young children are healthy, safe and equipped for success in kindergarten and beyond, and helping parents become their child’s first and best teachers and champions. What Wendy most loves about her position is working with community partners and parents to help make Detroit a city that puts children first; while ensuring that families are equipped with skills for success. On a fun note, Wendy loves to cook, travel and spend time exploring the serene riverfront parks, landmarks and hidden gems along Detroit’s International Riverfront.

Kevin Bryant serves as a Program Manager for the Center for Family Development, Inc. He has been honored to work at Centers for Family Development, Inc. since June 3, 2008.  In his role, he provides leadership in Prevention, mentoring and community engagement programming with internal staff and with local and national partners; ensuring that boys and young men of color are healthy, safe and equipped for success to graduate from high school, complete postsecondary education or training, employed and safe from violent crime.  What Kevin most loves about his position is working with grass-roots community leaders and to help make Detroit a city that puts children first, while ensuring that families are equipped with skills for success. On a fun note, Kevin is not serious all the time. He is just as likely to burst into laughter or be overheard singing anything form gospel to old-school hip-hop.
